Vanguard...anyone else?

Well, I'm loading vanguard back on to my PC. Anyone else out there? I know some of you maybe dabbled in it.

i use to play on Gulgrethor.....but i dunno if im gonna log back in....Im kinda biding my time with TF2. My wife knows im gonna be playing the hell outta AoC, and she is kewl with that. She also knows im gonna be playing pretty hardcore for 6 days. So i figure i will spend all my brownie points on AoC...hehe

I was on at launch for 3 months, :bang: I know I had an offer for a free month to come back a try it out, but I was skeptical......

I left before any fixes left. At the time I had a decent but not great machine trying to run this game. Not all that smooth and lag was horrible. However, currently playing as a level 8 necro, and I haven't had any problems. Since I have a 8800 on my rig I have no problems cranking up the graphics on my rig, very pretty cities and lands. My only beef is the necro pet looks like Venom from spiderman...

I played for awhile, but then gave up on it... I dont have any plans to play it again. For the time being I'm having some fun with TF2 and look forward to its upgrades soon, and I might get into Hellgate. Cabal has peaked my interest as well.

I've been playing TF2 myself lately. I added the SWC server to my fav's and I actually have an awesome ping rate on there. However, no one to play with except myself..that's nothing new..but my hands get tired... :eek:

This game was super buggy at release! Can't believe they released it, should of held it back to fix the bugs. The skill system and conversation system was a lot like EQ2. Very overblown. Game was also super laggy when I played it.

They had to release it early, because they ran out of money to keep paying the programmers (From what I heard.) So once the money came back in, they started fixing the problems.

I was a alpha tester for Vanguard, I did play the live version as well. I have a lvl 43 Wiz. I can't remember what server I played on thou :bang:

I played the beta, and though thee were some things I liked about it, I just didn't think it was fun enough at the time to warrant a purchase. With the release of AoC not far away, the fact that I'm playing Pirates of the Burning Sea, and all the other good games I've got on tap, I don't think it'll get another chance.

FYI: I saw someone mention Hellgate. I haven't loaded that up in a month or two, but I do have it.

Am found IG every other week or so when bored and uncreative. not a game i realy enjoy but good for a lost hour. same goos for every other SOE game. seeing i have all games and a station sub. curenly play potbs the most. easly gameplay enjoyable for a hour or two.

My God, crafting in that game is horribly boring.

I'd have to agree with you there. When I first started crafting I didn't know the rules as in ganking rules. So i was a lvl 16 crafter and I would get camped while I crafted because if you were past lvl 8 adventurer anyone could attack you. Thus the reason for the 2 accts. One acct was all crafters. Every slot was filled with every type of crafter ingame and my other acct was my adventuring acct. I really get into these MMO's. Back when I played SWG I had 5 accts.
