Application process.
Please take the time to read and understand this document.
To begin the application process, please visit the Application Registry and follow the instructions filling out the necessary form. Please be sure to read and understand the Iron-Bound ~Community Guidelines~. (http://www.iron-bound.com/forums/showthread.php?5378-Iron-Bound-Community-Guidelines) This document is very important to I-B and reading and understanding them is crucial to your success in the community.
The process for full membership within I-B is fairly straightforward. What we’re looking for is an offering from you, the applicant, as to who you are. Iron-Bound is a tight knit group that is focused on building friendships and finding the right people to share in the fun and camaraderie that we all look for when we log in to play the games that we share.
So what we look for is activity that will help show us that you are serious in regard to joining our community and help make it a better more dynamic and fun place to be. Numbers are not important to Iron-Bound, and at times we will hard cap membership so not to exceed a group size that looses the feel we strive for.
Once your application is reviewed you will be asked to meet with some of the members on our Ventrilo server for a brief introduction into the fold. This info will be sent to you via PM.
The time line to the full membership stage varies from one person to the next. Successful transition to full membership requires the use of Ventrilo and regular participation on our forums... i.e. participating in discussions, offering opinions, introducing new topics, etc… We are building a community of friends, so we are looking for people that genuinely want to be a part of something fun and dynamic. We're old school in our loyalty, and we love to have fun together. Those that are not interested in building true friendships need not apply.
When the application process is finished, your application will be moved into the Archive section.
We wish you the best of luck, and hope to get to know you soon.
**If you will be taking a leave of absence during the Application process for what ever reason, please be sure to let the community know so we can keep your application open.**
