Well met, members of the Silver Wolf Clan,

I am here as an ambassador to represent the Darkfall Merchants Association (DMA) (http://www.darkfallmerchant.proboards.com/). We are a non-clan organisation aimed at promoting the welfare and success of crafters/gatherers/merchants in Agon. We are looking for both clans and individuals, both crafters and non-crafters, of any alignment, race or allegiance, to join our Association. Non-crafter types, such as mercenaries, city-builders, territorialists, naval-oriented and PvP/Anti-PKers are all invaluable to the success of crafters; yet non-crafters too have much to gain from crafters themselves. We aim to be 'above' inter-clan and racial politics. Our forum aims to provide a platform for individual members or clans to strike deals and contracts with other members, or form pacts as they see fit. We will also host a DNS (Do Not Sell) list to better pre-warn members against those who do not value the role of crafters. And since external websites will be accessible from within DFO, this will make it a useful tool while traveling the world of Agon.

If any of these core principles appeal to you at all, or to your clan as a whole, we will welcome SWC members amongst our Association. Feel free to visit, register and to join our discussions: Discussion and debate is what will see out the best outcomes. We are only a young organisation, but we are growing by the day, and would greatly value your involvement! ARAC clans stand to be best served by the Association's open and non-racial political status, as we are gaining crafters and non-crafters from all over Agon. This may, too, work in your favour.

Thank you for your time! I look forward to working with you all! :)

Sincerely,
Lady Si'aan Anoura.
Ambassador from the Darkfall Merchants Association (DMA) (http://www.darkfallmerchant.proboards.com/)

Welcome Si'ann :) We are always happy to find information about social groups that provide crafting services, and it sounds like a very solid plan you outline for the community. We will have our contingent of crafters, myself included, that are always looking to barter for goods and resources that may need. :sneak:

We look forward to seeing how your ventures pan out and if we end up on the same server, we could quite possibly be doing some business with you in the future.

I look forward to it Councillor Caden!

While it is early days yet, we hope that we can span multiple-servers, having distinct sections of the forum for each server and a main discussion area with information that is for general viewing and comment. Depending on exactly how many servers there are, this could pose a challenge, but we plan on having "a few" from the game launch that we focus on, before adding more servers to our forum as we go. Also, we will be on the servers that our members are on. So, if your clan chooses a server and wishes to be a part of our Association, we will surely accommodate that. :)

I like these ideas, what with the "do not sell list" and everything, it sounds a lot like the functions of the United Nations, embargoing people will be fun.

Hail Si'aan Anoura

Thanks for the post and good news that you bring to the camp fires of the Silver Wolf Clan... I like what I hear and I think all of our members that will have a roll in crafting, would want to be active in your Merchants Assocition..

As a clan, we are holding off on any firm decision of collective goal in DF until the game actually launches... We will be playing on a NA server, so with the EU launching first, there will be good feedback on the game's crafting mechanics and other guild class objectives.

I look forward to working with your organization and hope you will not be a stranger to our forums whenever you have news or updates about DMA..

I am not sure how planned many of the crafters out there are, but I would likely suspect, as I have also mentioned to you on the Associations forum, that there will be those who wish to trade in racial-specific weapons. There will surely be merchants out there who aim purely to buy and sell, and they would most certainly have a keen interest in your racial-specific wares. We hope to have members from all races, so hopefully we can help you to achieve these goals
