Anyone else following the update for D&D to 4th edition rules? It seems that "Wizards of the Coast" gaming company have bought the rights to make a computer enabled table top style game under a monthly subscription type of service known as "Dungeons and Dragons Insider". Basically as what I'm reading it as, for the price of about what MMO fees are per month, you get all 4th edition materials available to you online, and you get unlimited use of the program to enable you to set up and/or play table type style D&D over the net. I just hope that since this is an official D&D licensed product that Gencon, uses the online service for players that can't attend the actual conference play meetings. I can't wait to see how this develops. Here are some links to some of the new info thats out.

Very nice.. that will be something worth watching. I've always enjoyed the online gaming scene.. Fantasy Grounds is nice, but having it all wrapped would very cool. :2cool:

I'm hyped about 4th Edition. The online aspects seem intriguing so far.

I never really got into D&D. This might be something to get the ball rolling for me. Thanks for the info.

This is going to be sick. This has got me excited now I can play DnD with my cousins and friends across the country.
